Loved the Pancakes, English breakfast was great too. I particularly liked that the bacon did not taste too salty. I normally skip bacon because of salt, but these were quite tasty. The staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful

Stayed on campsite, had sunday roast carvery beef, absolutely delicious. Daughter & son in law had dinner on Saturday & said it was very nice

Sunday lunches are lovely here. The chef gives you meat and pudding then help yourself to the veg.

Not very many people for a great place it has a "Dog" friendly zone and if that's not enough, Riverside Tables to eat and watch the river sway. I had pancakes for breakfast I got 4 of them for a cheap price!

First time here, and very quiet - the restaurant has a dog friendly room. And I have to congratulate the staff members Margaret and Graham they made us feel very welcome - the food was really good and prices about average. For an out of season break - Can't recommend Heather View enough. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our regular Saturday lunch from Kingfisher with our little dog. Unfortunately can't come any more as it's too cold outside. Surely the small end enclosed room could be dog friendly. Will have to find somewhere else to go. This also applies to Sunday lunch.

This used to be a lovely place under the old park management when it was "The Crazy Bear" but now it is overpriced, the service is terrible and the food is either tiny, tasteless or both. The still-frozen burger was a particular highlight.

In short, we went in as they advertise that they have vegan options.
However, the menu had no vegan options. We asked about this and the manager helpfully informed us that a few dishes could be adapted to be made vegan (normally by removing certain products, not replacing). A pizza with vegan cheese was ordered. The manager was very clear with the kitchen staff about this.
When the pizza arrived it had dairy cheese on it. This was sent back and eventually came back with vegan cheese, but unfortunately this meant we were eating at different times.
10/10 for the service staff, but unfortunately this kind of kitchen mess up is unforgivable.

Been here many times over the years hoping it would get better as we're local and each time it just doesn't improve. wouldn't take to much to make it decent. Good food and helpful friendly staff would be a start.but they have 2 or 3 that spoil it. Jennifer the young girls and lad are all lovely but I think a new manager and chef are desperately needed. The final straw was watching Graham the cook wipe his hands all over the plate befor handing it to a customer.the food is basic and tasteless frozen pizza not homemade chips. bland and overpriced.the caravan grounds are spotlessly tidy and lovely views but places like this need a good place to eat and this unfortunately is a waist of money.its such a shame with the right people running it I think it could be popular. I wouldn't recommend I would say travel a little further for fresh tasty food with better staff.

Nice place for a bite to eat and a drink, only fault is you can't take the dog in. There was only 2 people in so it wouldn't of effected anyone really. It's a dog friendly site? I could understand if there was a lot for people or children and dog's in. Not to worry, still a beautiful place for a break......

Excellent food, friendly staff and great entertainment!
The staff are all friendly but one particular team member stood out. Jennifer was our server and she did everything she could to make our experience and smooth and enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was amazing. The salt and chilli chicken share platter makes for a perfect sized main.
Great kids entertainment on a Saturday evening. The staff gave every child an opportunity to shine. My daughter loved every second of it and hasn't stopped telling everyone about it.
